  • Dear AMPA Members and Friends,

I am honored to invite you to the 2015 Moroccan American Bridges (MAB) conference that AMPA will once again present this year. Based on popular request, the two-day conference will be held this year in Washington, D.C., on December 4-5th.

This year's edition will revolve around the theme of "Morocco: Educating Business for the 21st Century". As Morocco and the United States continue to strengthen their relations, businesses face even greater challenges to keep up with technological developments, cross cultural communications, and changing business dynamics. In a rapidly changing, internet-based world, there are new threats, new challenges, and new opportunities. Success requires entrepreneurial thinking and innovation. This conference will explore the interrelationships between these important areas as relevant to Morocco's various developing sectors and how US-Morocco partnerships and businesses can work together to help Morocco achieve its ambitious directives while business opportunities are created on both sides of the Atlantic.

The first day of the conference will feature panel discussions with business leaders and experts in a variety of areas. The second day will feature a mini expo, exhibiting Moroccan handicrafts and products made by women's cooperatives in Northern Morocco, and demonstrating the effective link between education, entrepreneurism, and creativity in the realm of Moroccan artisanal handicrafts.

Stay tuned for more information including a link to register. In the meantime, please save the dates. We hope to see you in Washington, D.C.!
